So i'm browsing for some VST freebies, when I come across Synth Edit. SynthEdit is a program that allows it's user to build synth and effect VSTs (and probably a lot more, but i am brand new to the software). After about 20 minutes of studying the example synth, and then 30 mins of messing around, I built my first synth. It's a really noisy delaying synthesizer with an awesome sounding Moog filter module. Like I said, i'm really new to this, but if anyone wants to try this thing out, here's the link: synthedit.com/If you build anything, post a description. Most of the coolest freeware VSTs are built with this program. Oh, and PS: if you are more the drum-type, you can build samplers and drum machines.
