What conditions need to be set in place in order for you to play a show?

I can't be picky. I'd like electricity. that's all I really need to play a show.

Well, that differs for the band in question, really. If you have a demented bass player who likes to throw his bass on the floor and then dash off into the crowd, only to return moments later for the big chorus...then, yeah, you're going to need to avoid the creepy. seriously, though. these venues put so many restrictions on the bands because, let's face it, an extremely high majority of the clubs out here exist as a buisness - as in, to make money - and not as a place of artistic expression. Although, i might be off-base with the original question.

As far as rules go...
Not that we get to wild and crazy...
But i like no rules...just in case you want to get off stage...and if there is a stage i prefer it small...But i'll take what i can get too...As long as we gain a fan a show...And we have a good time doing our show...that is all tha tmatters to me
And...Electricity is definitly a plus.

No, you created me because you were a horrible writer, remember? I moved into town, not you. You had been there. It only seems plausible.

meh, rules don't bother me too much... if someone is out to make money that's their life not mine, I really don't care. Playing at the creepy crawl sounds really good. The main reason I like playing there is that the sound system is really loud. Loud is good. The people never really bothered me, and their personal convictions about music and business don't affect me directly.

I need to have the crowd as close to me as possible. Preferably no stage, but a crazy light show is appreciated, it brings movement and energy especially when the crowd is stagnant. More flashy lights and more people are liable to dance.

at this point in my musical *ahem* career, electricity is good but if not i have acoustics to share, lol. cody (our drummer) could use his brushes and such...but i really like my teisco...really all i need to play is a guitar. sometimes not even a pick, but oh well. a stage would be welcome....just a tad bigger than the one at the lions hall in owensville, so i have a little more room to roam around if i feel like it. i like that freedom to just walk away while playing then dissappear for awhile. its all fun. but yeah i agree with joe that the crowd needs to be into it a little,,,otherwise i get nervous
signing out -matty
